MAMA SMOKE

Hello, I'm Mama Smoke, (aka Annie Smoker) and I'm asking for your help so I can take my MAMA SMOKE Chilli Crisp to the next level. 

I started making Chilli Crisp after I had my first baby - since I couldn't add chilli directly to our family meals, I needed a chilli sauce to add afterwards. I went through lots of chilli sauces and none of them hit the spot, so finally just had to make my own. And, in my humble opinion, it's the best and crispiest chilli out there.

Since 2021 I've been slowly growing the MAMA SMOKE Chilli Crisp enterprise, making batches out of a commercial kitchen and selling to friends, workmates and family. Last year I started selling it online, but now, I'm ready to go big. Hence, "The Big Batch"

I've crunched the numbers and with a $3500 investment in ingredients, jars, stickers and maybe even some marketing (which I’ve never done before), I will have enough cases of MAMA SMOKE chilli crisp to start selling in shops both here in Sydney and further afield, start putting cases in the hands of salespeople to spread the gospel of Chilli Crisp around the country, and also invest in infrastructure for my online store, mamasmoke.com.au.  

So, that's the vision for The Big Batch, to really ramp up MAMA SMOKE Chilli Crisp production and get to the next level, so you can start to find MAMA SMOKE Chilli Crisp in your local deli or cafe, and have an absolutely killer online shopping experience.

With the $3,500 I aim to raise, I'll be investing in:

- larger orders of ingredients

- larger quantities of jars, stickers, boxes and bags
- marketing and expertise to reach more customers & improve my online store

All of that will help me reach economies of scale, meanings I can keep chilli crisp affordable (only $12 a jar) while allowing me to start selling through salespeople and wholesale.
