We are very proud to announce that we have been selected to officially showcase at the prestigious Americana Music Festival in Nashville Tennessee this September!
It is an honour to get an invitation as only four other Aussie acts have been chosen to officially showcase. We will be representing Australia alongside some of Australia's most revered performers, Paul Kelly, The Hillbilly Killers (Tim Rogers, Bill Chambers, Catherine Britt), Melody Pool & The Bushwackers.
Unfortunately our invitation came with such short notice that we are too late to apply for any government assistance in the form of touring grants.
That’s where you come in…
We are reaching out to our fans and supporters to help make this dream come true. Showcasing at Americana Fest is a golden opportunity to take Mustered Courage to the next level. We will be putting our music and live show in front of the cream of the crop of the Americana music industry and are planning to strike up some deals to further our career while we are there.
We desperately need your help to raise the funds for flights otherwise we will have to pass on this amazing opportunity.
At best, flights will cost us $8000. The remaining $2000 will cover visas and help with our accommodation and living expenses. FYI the showcase is a great opportunity but we are not getting paid in any shape or form.
Just in case we were to shoot past our goal of $10,000, we came up with a few Bonus Goals...
If we reach:
A$ 12,500 - We’ll finally get our release ‘Powerlines’ pressed in vinyl and, guess what, everyone who donates more than $50 gets a copy in the mail. Bam!
A$ 15,000 - We’ll finish recording the 2 songs that never made it onto ‘Powerlines’...
A$ 18,000 - We'll record a live concert DVD
Of course, we would never ask for your money for nothing in return.
We have plenty of amazing incentives and great products for you to purchase below so please check them out (Don't forget to check out our limited edition artwork double CD/DVD).
Unfortunately, if we don’t reach our Pozible goal, then we get NONE of the funds raised.

Muz Cuz Workshop! If you’re a school or community organisation, we’d love to put on a show for you! We can come to your school and perform for half an hour and give a half hour workshop with the kids on creating music and what bluegrass is. (Availability for locations outside of Melbourne will depend on distance and our touring schedule. Hit us up with any questions and we can work out how to make your workshop happen!)
