Most drivers either overpay at the nearest station or waste time manually comparing apps and websites. There's no tool that tells you: "This specific station saves you the most money after factoring in the drive."

NexFuel is an AI-powered fuel app that calculates your real savings — not just the cheapest listed price, but the actual money you keep after detour costs. It analyses real-time prices, your location, your route, and available discounts to recommend the single best place to fill up.

Based on real Australian driving data (ACCC, ABS), NexFuel users can save $100–$300 per year depending on how much they drive. Our in-app tracking already shows real savings of $2.50–$6.60 per fill-up.

Our Story

I'm Bonnie, a Sydney-based developer and daily driver who got tired of the same frustration every week: filling up at what I thought was a cheap station, only to pass one 20 cents cheaper five minutes later. I checked every fuel app out there — they all show you the cheapest price nearby, but none of them answer the question that actually matters: "Is it worth driving there?"

So I built NexFuel. It started as a calculator for my own commute, and grew into a full AI-powered app that's preparing for public launch. Every feature exists because I needed it as a driver first. This campaign isn't about funding an idea — the app already works. It's about making it better and getting it into the hands of every Australian driver who's sick of overpaying.

What areas does NexFuel cover?
NexFuel now covers all Australian states and territories with real-time fuel prices from government-mandated public APIs. EV charging station data is also available Australia-wide.

Is my data safe?
Yes. NexFuel only uses your location (while using the app) and vehicle info to find savings. We never sell personal data. All analytics are fully anonymised.

When will the iOS version be available?
The iOS app is built and submitted to Apple — expected approval by April–May 2026. Pozible backers get priority access on both platforms.

What if the campaign doesn't reach its goal?
Pozible is all-or-nothing — if we don't hit $8,000, all backers are fully refunded. But the app is already live and independently funded. This campaign is about accelerating development and building our early community, not survival funding.
