ave you ever stopped and thought about how your problems really aren't that bad, in the grand scheme of things? No! Of course not, they're always one monumental convoluted mess of bad shit, right!? What if you went to a therapist to finally get it off your chest, only to find that your shit, is bull shit, dwarfed by the plight of someone else's existence. Third-World Solution is a hilarious short comedy that twists our ideas of psychology and highlights the trivial nature of some of our lives.
Our hero Tim an affluent banker reluctantly goes to the therapist with his crippling problems - 'first-world problems'. As Tim's tedious insecurities are verbalised, the therapist settles in for another boring day at the office.
However the therapist's uncontrollable emotional reaction to what he's hearing, triggers a tragic story of his past in India, that puts things into perspective for Tim. Tim must transcend his insecurities to reach out to another human being that really does need his heartfelt support.
This feel good comedy reminds us of the joy of helping others in need of a friendly ear.

Third-World Solution is a Media Buzz Online production.

One of the things the crew are most excited by is the music that we will be using. The Composer Jeevan Singh is from the same part of the world as Nick - Bristol in the West Country of England and has very kindly come on board after Nick searched for Bhangra music via youtube. Jeevan will be mixing a new version of the song below in the same studios that Portishead used in their early albums! Portishead is one of Nick's all time favourite bands!
Almond - Jeevan Singh 2013
The film will be shot on a cinema quality Red Epic 5K camera.
We're submitting the film in to international film' festivals from March onwards.
