Get Our Horror Film to Tropfest
My name is Alice Tovey. You may recognise me from my comedy, my work writing on Gruen, the Weekly with Charlie Pickering, and Question Everything at the ABC, or from my bachelorette night horror movie, Hen.
I am thrilled to announce that I am the writer and director of the brand new horror short, Parent Teacher Night. It's a psychological horror following a teacher, who is given the power to see into the future of her troubled student.
We are making this movie to enter into Australia's biggest short film competition, Tropfest . After 6 years, we finally have the chance to make a film for the festival and want to make the most of this career making opportunity.
Any contribution you can make, big or small, means a lot to us. Thank you in advance, and see you at the movies.
Love,
Alice

FAQs
What happens if the film isn't selected for Tropfest?
Don't worry. If we are not lucky enough to be accepted, we will be entering the film into other festivals, and will look for ways to share the movie with you however we can.
Is any of this funding going to you as the director?
Lol no.
Why don't you just use AI? Isn't that cheaper?
Uhhhh "wHy d0n't Y0u jUst Us3 AI!?!" do you see how ridiculous you sound? Shut up.
