Phil and Ned's Ride for Nature - The Doco
Ride for Nature - The documentary
We are are seeking funding additional funding to help us put together a retrospective documentary about our 83 day, 5200 pls kilometre pushbike ride from our back door south of Hobart, all the way to Darwin. So far we have raised $15K for this project with the help of pledges from Wedgetail, and Bellendena Grants.
The documentary will look back on the ride itself and how it came about, will then focus on the great work of the charities that we rode for and end with a call to action for everyone to follow their own adventures for their own causes! The focus for what we are calling stage three of filming - is to travel to Uganda and tell the story of Ride for A Woman, a social enterprise on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will also focus on the rangers and theri amazing work to conserve nearly half of the world's Mountain Gorillas, and how they work with Ride for a Woman to achieve this.
After that, it will be back to seeking grants etc to try and put it all together!!
