MENS FASHION LABEL AW2015 LAUNCH

After graduating from RMIT Melbourne with a Degree in Applied Science-Fashion Technology, it felt like the only logical next step was to take the plunge and start the label I had always dreamed about since I was a small boy growing up in a small country town.
This label lets me challenge ideas of masculinity, provide an alternative to traditional mens fashion, and provoke thought into present day consumer behaviour to achieve the ultimate goal; change for the better within the fashion industry.
We as a consumer society need to ask questions about sustainability, ethical practices, and our reasoning for our purchases, and not just whats on the price tag.
As a designer, I have the hope to be able to be a part of a growing group of fashion designers that will contribute to a positive change.
All clothes are designed and made at my studio in Fitzroy, Melbourne and I'm proud to be Melbourne raised and Australian made.

How The Funds Will Be Used
As a new, small business with big aspirations, all funds will be 100% allocated to the LUKE ARENHOLDT label.
I've broken down the allocation of funds I hope to raise, and I thank you all in advance for being interested enough to get to this point. Every cent, every dollar helps.
FABRIC (a combination of locally sourced fabrics and ethically and sustainable fabrics bought from indigenous communities in rural northern Thailand) = $2, 050
TRIMS inc. thread, zips, buttons, elastic = $250
LABELS inc. brand labels, care labels, country of origin = $500
PACKAGING inc. eco-friendly bags, boxes = $300
BUSINESS CARDS = $300
And of course, I'd like to allocate funds to showcase my AW2015 collection in a show that will reflect the funds I've raised and to thank all those involved in helping me achieve my life goal.

AW 2015 LAUNCH INVITE

This is an invite only event and will give you the chance to see how your contributions have been used in person. The band and venue are all being kept a secret for now but expect the unexpected. LIMITED EDITION TEE
For this campaign only I'll be offering a limited edition tee that will be available until sold out. It will be a basic tee with a Luke Arenholdt twist. The tee has 2 concealed vents in the back to allow for air flow. It's the perfect tee for cyclists and those with active lifestyles as body heat is expelled from within. A variation of this tee was being sold for $170 online so it's going for a great price and it's one of my favourite tees!

PERSONAL FITTING
This is a 2 hour long unique fitting where a personal block will be developed especially for you. Samples of a top and bottom will be made for you to try on so that you will always be able to order from the online store with confidence knowing that your garments have been made especially for you. Drinks and snacks will be provided during your visit and it's a great way to see how your contributions will be making a difference in terms of the way we look at the fashion industry.
