'Academy Feyha: Elite cadets mission 3027' is an EP - a short album - with music and voice actors, a fantasy/sci-fi script, sound fx and sound design, created for the 3D audio experience.
With your help we will have a day in the studio with Bob Scott.
The Mix: imagine stepping into another world of audio where the soundscape comes to life around you. Bob Scott is an award-winning engineer and producer specialising in immersive audio. The 3D mix will bring the EP to its full potential, since it was crafted specifically to sound like you're really on another planet.
Sound Design: Bonnie Knight, Sound Engineer + Producer to the Stars, is creating the soundscape for the alien jungle planet Jiaanabal. Bonnie's incredible sound design will launch the EP into another galaxy.
The Story: planet Feyha in the year 3027, four cadets - each one top of their chosen field - are sent on a dangerous mission to Jiaanabal, but things don't go as planned on the journey. "We're drfiting..." "Is everyone else seeing this?!" The script was written by Reilly McCarron, and edited by internationally acclaimed scriptwriter Lindsay Devlin.
The Music: original music by Orchestrion is at the heart of the EP, from wild beats to songs of melancholy and intergalactic grooves. Orchestrion is Reilly McCarron, with Pat Sully & Stu Soler.
Voice Acting: four young actors are playing the parts of -
Orlani (19, wise, solitary, in a league of her own) is played by Alina Caganoff
Khern (20, strong, diplomatic, he's a natural leader) is played by Lemuel Appel
Vedha (17, she's fun, friendly, and super creative) is played by Tess Rogan
Faven (16, despite his irreverent facade, he's conscientious) is played by Txai Davies
Includes Chancellor of The Wise Council voiced by Reilly McCarron. Narrated by Captain Ormekh played by Ben Gardiner.
'Academy Feyha: Elite cadets mission 3027' EP is an introduction to the expeirmental art music project, Golden Orb, leading up to a double album in 2024.
Reilly McCarron is the primary composer and writer of Orchestrion, and project manager for Golden Orb.
Budget Overview
$1000 buys one day in the studio with Bob Scott for an immersive audio mix.
If a stretch target is reached, it will go towards further studio time.
