The best of the best balloon twisters will be gathered in Sydney for the Qualatex Event, OzJam 2014. It is for Twisters, Deco Twisters, Balloon Professionals and Newcomers to the industry to learn, educate, network and expand their knowledge.
I would love to go to further my skills but also to do something just for me... As a single mum of three, one with multiple complex disabilities, all my time is spent on my girls, as it should be and I love every second of it. Much of that time is helping the big girls with their countless fundraising and community projects you can read about them here Julie and Sissy's Community Adventures
Two days surrounded by people who love this art as much as me, Two days of immersing myself in their knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm. I can only begin to imagine how much this opportunity will improve and widen my skills and help me in the future to support my family better

How The Funds Will Be Used
The conference ticket is $450, then there is two nights accommodation and airfares as well to get me there. Then Balloons lots and lots of balloons for all the amazing creations I will be learning...
I'm only looking to get part of the amount I need and will work hard to make the rest in the short time I have.

The Challenges
One of the main challenges will be containing my excitement, there are just so many amazing workshops on offer, another major challenge will be deciding between all the amazing classes on offer....
I'm positive I can over come these challenges though and suck every second of creativity, knowledge and networking out of this conference.
