Hello! I'm Sammy - the Founder of Subtle Tea Australia

This is my story of how a dancefloor epiphany changed my life, and how your generous support can help me on my mission to craft a cleaner and tastier future in the Australian beverage market!

Like a lot of us, I’ve been shifting towards cleaner lifestyle choices and enjoying the benefits. I love a social drink, but I couldn't find anything that ticked all my boxes.

Ditching calories and sugar is a no brainer, but I found their replacement additives and sweeteners didn’t agree with me either. And the fake flavouring and artificial aftertaste is not my cup of tea..

Failing to find something on the shelves, I got creative - and started brewing my own Hard Iced Tea! 

I shared it with my friends and everyone loved it! 

 One very hot day on a festival dancefloor, I was sipping away on my homemade Hard Iced Tea and relishing in the delightfulness of my handiwork 😏

I had a lightbulb moment! 💡

I could clearly see a gap in the market for a fresh, tasty pre-mixed drink, with zero nasties. I knew I had to go for it!

Within months I had quit my corporate job and invested everything I had into Subtle Tea. 

It was a huge leap of faith, especially seeing I had absolutely no idea how to manufacture an alcoholic drink. 

But fueled with passion and determination, I knew I could figure it out!

I’m committed to my original recipe: 

• 100% Real Cold brewed Tea (not extracts or flavourings) 
• 🍉100% Real fruit 🍏
• No Preservatives or Nasties ❌

While this was commendable, it meant I came up against huge obstacles in my production process. 

I knew the extra effort would be worth it. But it was really challenging, and the costs stacked up...

Against all odds, last Summer I successfully produced Subtle Tea to my exacting standards, and I launched!

🎉 It went off!!

 I sold out at multiple events, and started rolling out into stores around Melbourne..

And this year is shaping up to be even bigger 🥳

Watching my brand come to life, and seeing my community loving what I've poured my heart and soul into has made it all worth it.. 🧡
