The Torch is working with Yorta Yorta language groups through the Kaiela Institute to create a site-specific multimedia work at the old Cummeragunja Schoolhouse that tells the history of the Cummeragunja mission and celebrates the achievements of Yorta Yorta people. The schoolhouse sits on the banks of the Murray River, upstream from the beautiful Barmah Forest National Park and is the last of the original buildings left at Cummeragunja.

Help us with the technical costs of transforming the old schoolhouse into a temporary multimedia exhibition site. For a weekend in Spring we will bring the schoolhouse back to life with projections, sound, light and short video to light up this tiny rural community. An evening community event will mark the occasion and supporters are invited to join in.
