Start. Options. Exit. is a featurette directed by Chris Mitchell and Yoav Lester.

Twenty-somethings Neville Carlisle and Yolis Jenkem have come to a freeing conclusion; If you forget the stupid little things like reputation, the law, friendship, the suffering of others.. Life can be kinda fun. You can do whatever you want, getting women is easier, stupid people respect you, sometimes you can even make a little money.

This is how these two self-loathing, self-entitled, hipster-in-denial, hedonists have been living their nihilistic lives for as long as it matters.

"they sound like c***s!"

They most certainly are.

"why would I want to watch a show about c***s?"

Because it's funny.

What we want to do is create a show that explores the destruction that comes with boredom, the selfishness that comes with ego, and the cruel comedy that is the human drama.

Too wanky? Think a Lynchian 'Always sunny in Melbourne' set in the world of empty fun, dark desperation and wasted youth.

What's the plot?

Yolis learns more about love than he bargained for when he bumps into his ex girlfriend and her new lover at a party. In an attempt to win her back, he devises a dark and devious plan which successfully launches her back into his arms. 
Meanwhile, Neville cruelly confronts a vagrant for withdrawing money from an ATM only to discover the "degenerate" in fact has more money than himself. His viscous rant is swiftly cut down by the vagrant's intellect and eloquence, which sends Neville down a spiral of doubt, resentment and petty revenge.

What is our project?

Start - Options - Exit. is a black comedy featurette, with intention for online series.

It is a satirical exploration of Generation Y, following the misadventures of two wayward twenty somethings as they glide through their own primal instincts and cruel intentions, circumventing morality and social convention in a world where selfishness is the motivation and there are no consequences. It aims to provoke questions regarding the unsavoury desires that lie behind our assumed obligation towards helping others and our responsibility to the progress of Man.

It is as much a study on boredom, ego, and degradation in contemporary youth culture, as it is a mockery of the human condition.

Where is it’s importance?

The Internet has opened up a world where the youth are more exposed to the sordid truths of modern life than the adults. Anyone with an internet connection can investigate for themselves our seedy past and questionable present, and never before has this been so accessible and rapid. This change has not allowed the industry to catch up, so they are trying to censor content through dying mediums and tired formats.

Who doesn’t wanna see a show with some balls.

There is value in having the forum to not hold back. That is what Pozible is about. That is what we need you for.

We have been fortunate enough to have received the support of a lot of amazing crew and equipment providers for the production of this film, however we still have along way to go to see our final vision complete to the level it deserves.

Your donations will go towards post production of the film, allowing us to bring on board the best the industry has to provide in order to complete the project ready for online and international film festival distribution.
