triage live art collective are very excited to announce that our new work, Strange Passions, has been selected to be a part of Die Fabrikanten's Exchange Radical Moments! Live Art Festival happening across Europe on 11:11:11. triage live art collective have been asked to present the work in Berlin. Yes! It’s true! We’re going to Berlin!!! For more information about the festival see http://exchangeradicalmoments.wordpress.com/

This is an amazing opportunity for us as a company and individually. Thanks to the good folk at the Australia Council we’ve been funded for our flights and Die Fabrikanten have taken care of our production costs. This just leaves the small problem of filling our bellies and keeping a roof over our head in the Berlin winter. Brrrrrrr.  That’s -10 degrees people …

Enter … you or your friends, family and colleagues! We need your support. Every dollar that you pledge inches us closer to being able to realise a huge dream for our collective to present our work on an international stage. We love what we do and we know we do it well. It will be because of your generosity that we get to do it without being hungry and cold.

This is our very first international commission, even the smallest contribution from you will help us to make this next 3 months of exciting work and touring possible. This is an opportunity to work in a city renowned for its artistic innovation and to create work for international audiences and programmers in order to create future opportunities. And as an opportunity it is just so important to us as an Australian company at this time. And we want to keep the wolves from the door so that we can commit ourselves 100% to the development and presentation of our work. All supporters of this new work will find a special place in our hearts and will be the first to know about our tour, future developments and works as we lead towards Berlin.

Who We Are:

As a collective all of our skills are coming into play for the Strange Passions project - Katerina can devise great projects concepts and has a knack for putting people at their ease &/or discomfort.  Melanie Jame's primary work has been as a performer, devisor and writer. Thomas, a visual artist and sculptor is a spatial designer par excellence. We all share a long history of working together and separately as performance makers and each of us brings a strong artistic voice, visual aesthetic, ethical framework and a passion for creating participatory events using high end concepts and lo-fi production values.
