ABOUT MY IPHONE APP PROJECT....

Let me tell you about my project to develop Nonna’s Pasta Master, an iPhone App…

 In a nutshell this app is a tool to cooking pasta to perfection – just like a Nonna...

What does the app do?

- You just tell Nonna the type and quantity of pasta and she will guide you to cook it every step of the way in a fun and easy way.

- Nonna will also provide you with some pasta sauce recipes from her volt  – these are real Italian and home-style (sorry no chicken and avocado sauce). Nonna will add new recipes regulary.

- Nonna will also provide pasta cooking tips & trick and common mistakes made my non-Italians.

I have a very vivid image of how this app will look, feel and work. I already spend a lot of time sketching up how it will flow and it's functions. I just need the help of some brilliant app developing geeks to make it happen - if only they worked for free!!!

Once developed, the plan is to sell it in the Apple App Store. I am yet to determine the price it will sold for, but it's likely to be only around a dollar or two.

Hopefully I can raise the funds required and have the app up and running by sometime this year. This is why I need your help.

Being of a Sicilian background I have passion for all food types and I love cooking Italian food – particularly pasta. (check out my food blog if you like www.stagfood.com)

Cooking pasta is not as easy as it seems if you don’t get certain things right you’ll cook your pasta, well, um – like someone who is not Italian.

From years of studying how Nonnas(my mother, aunty) in my family do it, I know I have now perfected it – and I want to turn it into an app so the rest of the world can perfect it too.

I have seen time, after time, people cooking pasta poorly. Over cooked, gluggy, under salted, stuck together. What they need is a Nonna to show them how to do it.

I have undertaken extensive research and it will cost around $9500 for some nerdy, yet brilliant app developers to professionally make this app. This will include:

$1500 for scoping and planning the app

$8000 for the artwork/design, development, testing, submitting it to Apple for approval and the the big launch.

I already have $4500 for this project. But I need to raise the remaining $5000, which is why I am asking you to give whatever you can today.
