'Kitty's Kitschy Days Out' is a brand new TV show, which showcases the most fun and fabulous eco-fashion, design and vintage based events all over Australia! We have already been given the green light by free-to-air channel, TVS, right here in Sydney and we anticipate our first episodes airing around August/September this year.
We have already filmed six episodes around NSW and the ACT, which were all funded by ourselves (TVS is a community station so they cannot pay us for our content).

You can check out our pilot episode we submitted to TVS for approval right here ;) - you'll notice the name of the show has changed slightly and this one doesn't have credits or ad breaks, which the series episodes will have.

Bruce Clayton aka Retropop
Bruce creates Designer Art furniture, Paintings and unique one of a kind pieces for both residential and commercial locations. A lot of his work has a nostalgic, pop culture vibe which brings fun and colour to wherever it is displayed. I actually own an original piece of artwork by Bruce and trust me it is AMAZEBALLS!
The Vintage Drawer
Deborah who runs The Vintage Drawer, is a dedicated lover of vintage. She recently completed a buying trip to New York where she has sourced fabulous vintage fashion to stock in-store back here in Sydney, saving us all of the hard work. This amazing 50s evening dress is one of Deborah's finds I had the chance to model a while back. I fell in love with it so it now lives at home here in the Kitty house.

Jess The Chen
We first met Jess when we were filming one of our Kitty's Kitschy Days Out episodes at RAW Sydney. Her work is incredibly detailed and I fell instantly in love with it. She is inspired by the feminine aesthetic and Japanese anime. I can't look at her amazing illustrations without getting a smile on my face!
Divine Vintage Dresses
This vintage store is run by Karen who is amazingly passionate about preserving these garments from the past. She loves restoring and resurrecting pieces so they get to 'live' again. She carries some gorgeous pieces including this 1940s cocktail number I think is just 'to die for'.
Mint Condition Vintage
The lovely Wendy runs Mint Condition Vintage. You can tell by taking one look at her pics that she has a fun take on vintage, carrying a lot of colourful, character filled pieces. I was lucky enough to wear one of Wendy's dresses for a recent fashion shoot and I think it looks pretty sensational!
Bluebelle Vintage Clothing
The amazing Loretta is behind the brand Bluebelle Vintage Clothing. She is multi-talented and makes not only the wonderful resin goodies you see as rewards here but she also makes reproduction vintage clothing and amazing headpieces as well! (She is also responsible for pushing us to apply to be on TVS!!!!)

How The Funds Will Be Used
We are aiming to make this a 13 episode series, so we would really love to film some of the remaining 7 episodes in the other states of Australia.
By including other states in the series there is a much greater chance the show will also be picked up for screening in that state by a local channel, which will mean greater exposure for everyone!
We will be using the funds for flights, accommodation and petrol and minor upkeep on the Kitty Mobile if it needs it (it covers a lot of miles!) If there are funds left over we will use them towards production costs like memory cards, storage drives and equipment.
Our initial target of $3000 will only fund a few interstate trips but we would really love to get to as many interstate events as possible, so if we hit our first target quickly we'd love to try for around $7000 to get lots of interstate episodes in this first series!
