It's been an amazing journey so far and it's now time to celebrate the moments and stories that have been captured. Reproduced in the form of a photographic coffee table book, a valued addition to any creative book collection and a wonderful resource for years to come for photographers, designers and creative enthusiasts alike. After seeking out various publishing options to gain support and inspiration the decision to self publish gave us the power and freedom to maintain the creative control and vision we have utilised throughout and put the process back into our own hands and the IC community. It's an expensive path to go down but we're willing to see what is possible / pozible. Pardon the pun. All the funds raised from this campaign will be go directly back into producing and self publishing Indisposable Concept - Volume One; including Art Direction, Production, Design, Layout, Printing, Publication and Promotion with any extra money going towards marketing the product and the IC project. We plan to develop the project further with future social activations online and in the physical space including regular exhibitions both domestically and internationally, showcasing the unique moments being captured and the Indisposable Concept story.

Indisposable Concept is all about eliminating the technicalities and proficiencies of photography whilst providing a level playing field for everyone to contribute in a fun and easy environment. The disposable camera is the weapon of choice to allow anyone and everyone the opportunity to participate regardless of age or ability. The stories being told and the moments being shared along with the sense of involvement and community are the true essence and beauty of Indisposable Concept. The background story.

Indisposable Concept (iCONCEPT) is a community based project (based out of Brisbane, Australia), inspiring people from all around the world to capture and share the world they live in through a sequence of shots captured with a Disposable Camera - 1 roll of film, 1 week, 24 moments.

The beauty of this process is that each shot taken is unique and untouched. The images can’t be deleted, only a certain number of shots are available and nothing is revealed until the photos have been developed. This is a raw exercise capturing the world around you in it’s purest form, an experiment built to explore human interaction and gain insight into different peoples lives across a broad demographic. The process also embraces the beauty of film photography and hopefully inspires and educates younger participants who haven't had the opportunity of working with film in this ever developing digital age. What are the most important things in your life? How do you see them and how do you interpret the world around you with a click of the button?

It’s up to you to capture the moments, the people, the world around you via the medium of film. You can focus the entire roll on one subject or numerous subjects that you love and hold dear, as long as it portrays what’s indisposable to you and the unique world around you.

Contributors have a week to capture their moments and share their stories with a selfie required as one of the photos on the roll to be utilised as a 'profile' pic for each gallery featured on the website. Folios are featured on www.indisposableconcept.com as well as www.facebook.com/indisposableconcept.

The project has received over 600 unique rolls contributed from all over the world so far with many wonderful moments and stories being shared. Indisposable Concept has reached many corners of the world and touched the minds and hearts of many people, inspiring some to pick up their old camera and get back into film photography and just generally feel good about the world they live in. The letters and stories that get sent in are very heart warming. There are boxes full of letters, gifts and disposable cameras. It's all self funded and run from a home office in suburban Brisbane, QLD AUS.

Indisposable Concept has over 3000 Facebook followers and over 6000 Instagram followers. An exhibition of the various folios were presented in a gallery environment in May 2013 at Bleeding Heart Gallery, Brisbane, Australia.
Indisposable Concept is an exciting movement which is experiencing growth on a worldwide platform. Hopefully you will be interested in supporting the project and it's development for years to come as it continues to give so much back to the people involved and the creative community in general.

The funds hopefully raised from this campaign will be used as follows:

$25,000.00 - Printing + Production for a run of 1000 books. 240 pages, 297x210mm, Pearl Artboard cover.
$5,000.00 - Graphic design (branding, layout and development of the book)
$5,000.00 - Book launch and Exhibition Event (Location Hire, printing, Marketing, PR and online executions)

$35,000.00 – Total amount required

(We were initially going to include postage costs as part of the target which was approximately another $22,000.00 due to the international nature of the project. We decided to keep the target lower and make the purchase of the book separate. However, the book is available as part of the $200, $500 and $1000 reward. The book will be available to purchase online from www.indisposableconcept.com if we hit the target and Indisposable Concept - Volume One becomes reality and gets published. It's totally in your hands. We have faith in you.)

Additional funds raised will be used for any of the following associated costs:

- Marketing and PR (including marketing associated with the the Launch/Exhibition event)
- Distribution
- Additional print runs (future copies)
- Further development of the concept both online and in the physical space

All funds raised from this campaign will do directly to the production & marketing costs associated with the creation and distribution of Indisposable Concept - Volume One.

The real challenge involved with creating the IC coffee table book is raising the money to bring it to life. Hopefully the IC community will get behind it and the printed copy will find it's way into hands all around the world.
