Melbourne Cans recently recorded a 10 track debut album and have mastered it for a vinyl release. We plan to produce a quality vinyl LP and we are seeking funding through pre-sales. 
We're seeking to raise at least half the production cost for 150 vinyl LPs. This is basically a pre-sale of our album and if the target is reached you will receive a high quality vinyl LP containing 10 original songs and a MP3 download for the full album + a bonus cover song.
Melbourne Cans started as a two piece project with Ian Wallace (Pageants) on guitar/vocals and Will McFarlane (Shocking Pinks, Pets With Pets, Ladydreams) on bass in 2012. Mid 2013, Ash Buscombe (Witch Hats, Pets With Pets, Ladydreams, California Bungalows) joined in on drums and soon after Nina Renee (Creeks) brought in vocals and keyboards.
Sleeve  art is in production by local artist and musician Ben Pell.  
The album was recorded over 2 days at a warehouse in Fairfield by Morgan McWaters who also mixed it.  
Both vinyl and MP3 masters were done by Mikey Young.  
There is also a film clip in production for a song from the album by award wining director Jake Harris (Costumed picture taken from clip footage)
We are extremely proud and happy with how the album has turned out and would love to see it come out on vinyl and play on your record players.
