And as a business venture dealing in chemicals we needed to think along these lines and act responsibly in ensuring our products that we design, manufacture and launch in the market place are eco-friendly, non - toxic to the environment and the user(s) ie; consumers. Eco-friendly products do not harm the environment whether in their production, use or disposal. They help conserve energy, minimize carbon footprints or emission of greenhouse gases and do not lead to substantial toxicity or pollution to the environment, they are 100% biodegradable or compostable. Hence they do not harm the environment or upset the ecological balance when disposed.
The use of eco-friendly products is an important step in protecting the environment. Look at the world's consumption rate today. Things are being produced, used and then discarded at a super rapid pace. If we make no attempts to switch to eco-friendly alternatives now, in no time to come, we will be surrounded by the pollution and toxins caused by producing, using and disposing these non eco-friendly products. The recycling industry would also not be sustainable because there is little demand for recycling products.
And we will also face a serious shortage of resources and energy because much of these resources will be wasted in driving non- energy efficient equipments and producing new materials and things. Hence, it is important to be bear in mind that the use of eco-friendly products allows each and everyone of us to decrease the negative effect we create when inhibiting this planet.

Originally from Bulgaria (East Europe), is passionate about creating delightful eco/user friendly product experiences that embody aesthetics, interactivity and innovation. He possesses a delicate mix of imagination, design/development sensibility and keen sense for usability.

Roland has a wide range of experiences in sales and marketing. He excels at generating and maximizing revenue and delivering unparalleled customer service. The Challenges
General cleaners are readily available, and many has adverse impact on the environment and the end users ie; consumers. Complaints of headaces and skin damage and other allergies are quite common and this is due to use of harsh ingredients and high alkalinity and this also has ecological and biological consequences in the long term.
Above all from the consumers view point most products pricing structure is set at the high level which becomes unaffordable to those at the medium to lower income brackets as such they resorts to buying budget branded products which are cheap for a reason. We at Genesis believe that a quality product should be made affordable for all income brackets so all can take advantage of it and be safe and contribute to the safe keeping of the environment.
Of course, we have all the solutions to these;
1) PRODUCT DIFFERENTIATION.
When designing Genesis cleaners we agreed that all our products will have the following characteristics to eliminate the foregoing effect on the environment and the consumers;
a) 100% Biodegradable, eco-friendly and user friendly.
b) 100% water based products (use of harsh ingredients or solvents not permitted).
c) Products designed will be different from the norm.
d) Packaging used will be 100% recyclable.
c) pH will be balanced (alkalinity will be neutralised).

- Has disinfecting properties in it for extra hygiene, very rarely you get this in other brand dishwashing liquids.
b) MACHINE DETERGENT (AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER).

- Is baking soda based - safe
- Harmless to equipment components and seals etc.
- Has rinse aid and disinfecting properties, rarely seen in other branded products.
- 100% water based product.
c) CAR SHAMPOO (CAR WASH).
- 100% Biodegradable, eco-friendly and user friendly.
- Is baking soda and xanthum gum based - safe all food grade ingredients.
- Caustic and Phosphate free.
- Harmless to vehicle paints.
- Has rust inhibitor properties for added protection against rust.

d) RADIATOR ANTIFREEZE/COOLANT.
- 100% Biodegradable, eco-friendly and user friendly.
- Antifreeze is manufactured in general by a very highly toxic ingredient, highly harmful to the users and environment. We at Genesis have come up with a product that is harmless to the user and the environment and is manufactured from food grade ingredients and has a freeze protection upto -48 degrees celcius and a boiling range of 112-182 degrees celcius. This product can be used in the food/hospitality industry in refrigration and the marine industry by the boating fertinity.

e) LAUNDRY BLEACH.
We are used to bleach which has chlorine and caustic in it and has that punjent smell that causes headaces to some and is not user/ eco friendly. We at Genesis are designing laundry bleach with the following characteristics;

- High disinfecting properties.
- 100% Biodegradable, eco-friendly and user friendly and water based.

2) COMPETITION.
Being a chemical blenders there are obstacles, such as out sourcing materials. We regularly purchase our packaging materials from suppliers such as; cartons, labels, plastic bottles, pallets etc. and these purchases are built in to our products pricing structure. We in the business to make money ethically," cutting corners" and comprising business standards is not our forte. We manufacture eco- friendly cleaning products taking into account our responsibility to our environment and the consumers. With regards to consumers we would provide a quality product at a reasonable and affordable price, and this can be achieved if only we can have a control over prices of the materials we source externally. This will take effect as we implement stage two (2) and three (3) of our business plan.
We have the ability to design our own labels, as such the need to invest in a labelling machine as we implement stage two (2) of our plan. This will see the business saving on design and printing cost and strengthens our competitive edge in the market place.
We intend to design and launch a company website and online shop to build product awareness and increase sales through our online shop.
In our stage three (3) of our plan we intend to invest into a plastic blow moulding plant so that all our bottling needs is met in- house rather than out sourcing them, this move will no doubt establish/ boost the company's competitive edge as it will be in a better position to offer matter pricing structure for a quality product.
3) Market Penetration.
Being a manufacturing venture our concern was with distribution, question we asked ourselves was HOW!!!. How we going to market and sell our productions. We realized that should we engage ourselves in sales and marketing for mass distribution than being production will be affected. As such we agreed to appoint distributors , reputable companies with nationwide distribution network. We now have formed a mutually beneficial alliance with two major distributors of our domestic range of products.
4) Pricing structure.
We invested time in researching the competitors pricing structure before launching our products. Necessary price adjustments was implemented on our part to ease market penetration. Our products are fairly priced compared to our competitors.
