I moved to the Dandenong Ranges 8 months ago which are located an hour from Melbourne and finally found the home away from home that I was looking for. The stage was set for creation...fresh air, space to breath it in and a softer pace of life that I could begin to thrive on creatively.
My routine is to wake at 6:30am, begin the day writing, take those ideas around with me for the day and work with them again that evening, then wash-rinse-repeat until a masterpiece is born!
Mark Stanley is the producer on this album and his studio is 20 minutes drive from my place. The irony is that I knew Mark back in Ireland about 20 years ago when he was the drummer in the Dublin based band 'The Mary Janes' (fronted by Mic Christopher). Mark has performed with many Irish musicians touring here in Australia and through various shows we began to cross paths and discuss doing some recording together.
Here we are today, 100% invested in delivering nothing short of a wonderfully crafted album and asking you to jump on board and help us get it to the finish line.
