The Drawing of Bodies and Things
The catalog will be 80 pages long, full colour, and include around 40 images of both my drawings and of the drawing process.
It will also include essays from my written thesis, which will provide people interested in my work with valuable context and insight into the project's development. This is of particular value as my drawing practice has run in parallel with my reading and writing practice over the course of the project.
How The Funds Will Be Used
Printing 50 copies has been quoted at $638:
50 copies, 80 pages each, on 140gsm Revive Recycled stock, 300gsm Revive Recycled stock cover, full colour. approx 20 x 25cm
The Challenges
The exhibition will open on the 28th of October, I intend to have the catalogs proofed and printed by the beginning of October. My current projected timeline is relaxed and allows for any delays that might occur in the design or printing stages of the catalog production.

Pre-order a copy of the Catalog: The Drawing of Bodies and Things
Catalog and Wooden Spoon
Receive the catalog as well as one of my hand carved wooden spoons, check out my instagram for a few examples: http://instagram.com/robbiekarmel There will be a range of spoons available to chose from, though it will depend what I have in stock come October.
Catalog and Wooden Pzzle
In addition to the catalog you'll receive a wooden puzzle that might be made from the offcuts of drawing apparatuses that I'm putting together for upcoming shows (if I have enough left overs, otherwise recycled hardwood)! the wooden puzzles are 6 pieces, though there may be some experimentation and variation between puzzles. the puzzles also come with custom letters (or something else?) carved into the pieces. http://instagram.com/p/skU2EUDQZk/?modal=true http://instagram.com/p/skT3EFjQYX/
