When a bumbling Hit Man’s legs are replaced with robotic limbs, he discovers they can elevate his skills to the professional level, but he must choose whether being the best hit man is more important than his humanity.

When a hit goes terribly wrong for Wyatt (BEN RIDGWELL) he loses half his body and is given metal legs instead. His discovery that these bionic limbs allow him to be a better, faster, stronger hitman leads to his desire to become a complete ‘tin man’. But that doesn’t satisfy his innate and desperate need to be the best and most successful man in the room - even going head-to-head with his outrageous boss Joe Greco (MICK SHANAHAN). And naturally, Wyatt admires the easygoing trendy personality of the surgeon Dorothy (JULIA GRENDA); but if Wyatt wants to 'be the man'... being full metal means he's missing a certain part!

Tin Man is the brainchild of James Lee and Jack Wilson, a high intensity short film about the insecurities of men: they feign strength but are fools at the core. It is the product of our belief that films can both entertain and make us think. We’re shooting things and blowing stuff up while also facing you with the question, "What are you willing to sacrifice in order to be successful?" 



We’ve been lucky enough to work with the very talented Queensland prop replica company D_tailed. Over the past couple of months they’ve been crafting our bionic suit for Wyatt, using a 3D model provided by David Fonti (one of our Production Designers). See below some shots of the modeling process, and what it will look like when it’s finished! Ain’t it beautiful?

Action films get crazy expensive pretty damn fast. As you can imagine, we're using a lot of specialised equipment plus all the regular costs involved in filmmaking.

The pozible money will cover the following:
- Gunfire! We have a whole scene planned that's one awesome shootout.
- Explosion! We are legitimately doing an explosion in this film AND it is integral to the narrative. Who'da thought it?
- Blood! To go with the gunfire and the loss of limbs (and the general 'wow this is awesome but kind of disturbing' nature of some scenes)
- Locations! To do the gunfire and the explosions and the blood and things!

With your input, we can bring this film to it's true realisation. We can't make it without great locations and great effects - it'd just look downright terrible. We'll be forever thankful!

This project is created through the vigorous efforts of young independent filmmakers from Melbourne Australia, with their sights set on making a film that can be enjoyed by a worldwide audience. But action films involve a lot of special equipment (*ahem*explosives) that puts holes in your wallet.

We face numerous challenges with this film. From location permits to scheduling enough time to rig someone with blood squibs, and making sure there's enough cameras available to catch our explosion from every desirable angle. Fundraising helps us overcome these.
