Driving home from an amazing weekend at Blazing Swan last year i saw several huge stacks of straw bales. Having seen footage of straw bale fires on youtube it got me thinking. I performed with fire for nearly 20 years, been a member of the Perth fire group for 10 years and met my wife through fire so I'm sure you've worked where my train of thought was going. I decided i wanted to gift something to the blazing swan community and create something visually spectacular. And so Swanhenge was born. We want to build a Blazing Swan influenced henge from straw bales and burn it to the ground. A crazy idea became reality when we were awarded an art grant towards our budget by Blazing Swan however on top of my personal contribution we are still short to complete the project. Our largest donation will be granted the title of Henge Destroyer and as such will set the henge on fire. it is not possible to select this reward as a choice when you donate. Any donations over $250 and i will make you a custom burn barrel from recycled gas bottle complete with a stand.

You get to collect a blank plate from Fire Tribe theme camp and place it on a bale of your choice at Swanhenge. It will cover one side of a bale and you may decorate it how you choose. Become a Honorary Artist in Residence of Swanhenge.

Our highest donation to the project grants you the privilege of setting fire to Swanhenge and claiming the title of Henge Destroyer. There can be only one! and it could be you. We will douse the henge in flammable liquid and run a fuse across the field. You get to ignite the fuse and watch the fire race across the paddock to the awaiting fully fuelled straw bales.
