We've produced a 6 Episode comedy/talk/sketch TV series called… ‘Understanding Women with Dr James’.
It’s a show that delves deep into relationship politics. Hosted by comedian James O'Connell AKA Dr James, with an all female panel led by Belinda Rygier www.thelovetrainer.com.au, they tussle over the big issues affecting modern social conduct.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our team and some wonderful volunteers - the six episodes have been shot, edited, fluffed and are ready to go -
We would like the show to air this summer on Brisbane's community TV station, 31 Digital www.31.com.au.
Each episode we will give away 2 minutes of commercial time to charities.
We're asking for your support to put the show on air and allow us to give away advertising spots to these three great organisations:

Our producers
James O’Connell is a Brisbane based comedian, he previously produced and hosted a show for 31 Digital ‘The Gentlemen’s Club’ and was also chosen as hubby material for 7 network’s ‘Farmer Wants a Bride’, being swept off his feet by a female farmer in the third series. James also performs on the local stand up circuit.
Guy Mansfield is a director at Brisbane based production company Blocmedia. http://www.blocmedia.com.au With a background producing documentaries and arts based media, Guy has been making comedy shorts& sketch material in between his corporate and community gigs.
James & Guy met after swapping comedy skits online & decided to take James’ previous show to the next level – revamping the format, and giving it a whole new life as: ‘Understanding Women with Dr James’.
They have been working on the show over the past 12 months juggling day jobs and children.
Making the show has seen them traipsing the streets of Brisbane shooting the many publicly shot skits& segments. In doing so they have amassed a wealth of insightful material they now would like to share with you.

How The Funds Will Be Used
As production on the ‘Understanding Women with Dr James’ six part TV series is almost complete we can now turn some of our effort into help for some local charity organisations.
The money goes to buy six prime time show slots on 31 Digital – Brisbane’s community TV station.
It will cost $4500 to pay for airtime and allow 2 minutes of advertising time per episode. That’s 24 X 30 second slots available to our three very worthwhile charities.
