It's that time of year again and Red Earth Brewery has been brewing and preparing like crazy already!
For those who don't know, we are Burning Seed's only all grain craft beer provider, dedicated to providing you with the Paddock's best beer!

This year's Pozible campaign is all about SPEED!! Speed of service and speed of brewing. And we would like your help to make this happen!
For anyone who was there last year you will remember the queues. Sometimes it took people half an hour to get a beer, and this year we want to avoid that.
To speed up service we plan to have a longer bar, with more taps, more kegs, and more people serving!
We also plan to build a raised chalk board over the bar so people can decide which beer they would like before they get to the bar.

To cope with demand we will be expanding production yet again! This means MORE BEER!! However, in order for me to do this I have had to buy some new equipment that speeds the process up. This includes a new, larger Hot Liquor Tun with a more powerful element to heat up the water fast, and a new gas burner that kicks out 200,000 BTU's allowing me to boil the wort in a fraction of the time it used to take.
This new equipment gives me the time to make 2 x 40ltr batches in a brew day instead of the usual 1, effectively doubling my production.

Costs this year include:
Raised Chalk Board - $ 150
Beer Engine (Hand Pump for English style ales) - $250
More Kegs and associated parts - $350
Repairs to pallet furniture and Bar - $200
Hot Liquor Tank with a new more powerful element- $150
New, more powerful gas burner - $150
Coolroom with Generator and Fuel - $500
Beer Ingredients (Yeast, Malt, Hops) - $1000

Challenges this year include being able to serve beer fast enough to avoid massive queues, and being able to brew fast enough to meet demand.
It is our hope that the extra equipment we are able to purchase from this campaign will help alleviate both of these problems.
