项目困难及解决过程
RWATCH R11的项目设计花费了我们很多时间，让我们一起来看一下项目过程中的问题和解决方案。
问题解决一：厚度和尺寸的创新
目前所看到的电子产品大部分是方形的，圆形的产品有效空间得不到很好的利用，我们在产品设计前经过很长时间的尝试和实验，首次ID建模完成后我们整机外观和尺寸是这样的：
经过我们反复的研究，发现这块表实在太大了，我们决定重新调整ID建模及主板设计，同时将整机结构调整为防水设计，此次调整我们研发团队花费了近3个月时间，最终整机尺寸调整后是这样的，我们对此非常满意！
问题解决二. ID的创新和防水结构的设计
智能手表的电池，屏幕等对圆形表的外形有很多的局限，我们经过反复的ID模型的设计和修改，结构即将设计完成后发现一个比较大的问题，起初我们防水按键是放在整机左上角操作起来很不方便，同时不符合传统手表按键外观要求，为追求更完美的产品我们决定再次调整结构将防水按键移到了右侧，此次调整我们研发团队又花费了2个月时间，最终形成目前的非常贴合人体工学的ID和结构设计.

动态心率测试受制于技术的成熟度和佩戴的局限性，市场上一直没有很好的产品。我们在过去的1年在动态心率的算法和实现上做了很多尝试，终于在其他产品上得到很好效果，并取得了很好的市场反馈。

How The Funds Will Be Used
We’re very thankful your support! All funds will be used in the mass production of the RWATCH R11.
The Challenges
1. Thickness and size
Currently, most smart watches are square in shape in order to best accommodate the geometric parts commonly used within electronic devices. The shape of components such as the battery, speaker and display all affect the ultimate style of the watch.
We were committed to producing a round, slimline watch, and consequently spent a lot of time and energy on working out how to accommodate these parts while effectively refining the watch’s appearance. Despite setbacks with our initial prototype, which proved too bulky for our liking, we researched, modelled and tested our round-faced prototypes for months until we developed a model that fit with our slim design aesthetic.
2. Waterproofing
Our desire to produce a watch with an effective waterproof quality resulted in three more months of additional research and development. Our biggest challenge here was in the placement of the watch button, which was initially on the upper-left corner but ultimately moved to the more intuitive and traditional right side. In order to accommodate the new position of the button, the watch’s internal structure was affected and additional work was required to assure the device’s hermeticity.
3. Dynamic heart rate algorithm design
We faced design limitations with regard to the dynamic heart rate functionality versus the watch’s wearing style. There isn’t a product on the market today featuring a dynamic heart rate monitor that we felt was superior enough to replicate in our product. In a busy family home, remote controls often get lost or misplaced, and it’s annoying and inconvenient having to hunt for them. Faced with this inconvenience, we thought we’d work to integrate remote control functionality into a device that’s designed to be fixed to your person, therefore mitigating the possibility of getting lost.
Currently, most smart watches are square in shape in order to best accommodate the geometric parts commonly used within electronic devices. The shape of components such as the battery, speaker and display all affect the ultimate style of the watch.
We were committed to producing a round, slimline watch, and consequently spent a lot of time and energy on working out how to accommodate these parts while effectively refining the watch’s appearance. Despite setbacks with our initial prototype, which proved too bulky for our liking, we researched, modelled and tested our round-faced prototypes for months until we developed a model that fit with our slim design aesthetic.
2. Waterproofing
Our desire to produce a watch with an effective waterproof quality resulted in three more months of additional research and development. Our biggest challenge here was in the placement of the watch button, which was initially on the upper-left corner but ultimately moved to the more intuitive and traditional right side. In order to accommodate the new position of the button, the watch’s internal structure was affected and additional work was required to assure the device’s hermeticity.
3. Dynamic heart rate algorithm design
We faced design limitations with regard to the dynamic heart rate functionality versus the watch’s wearing style. There isn’t a product on the market today featuring a dynamic heart rate monitor that we felt was superior enough to replicate in our product.
