OUR MINI MAG - A TASTE OF WHAT IS TO COME

Since we officially launched our business and website in 2014 we have been all consumed with the idea of publishing Australia’s FIRST Women’s Adventure & Travel Magazine. One that becomes the voice of adventure and travel for all the gals out there with a passion for traveling, playing and living large, hence our name -Travel Play Live.

Why?

Before we can introduce you to the world of adventure and the incredibly inspiring women we have met out there who are joining our community, we need a little help to get our magazine off the ground.

We are seeking more than just your encouragement to turn this goal into a reality.  We are asking you – our audience of adventuresses – and of course our male supporters, to join us on this adventure and pledge to buy the magazine upfront to help us raise the cash we need to get it designed and printed and in front of our audience & the advertising companies, letting them know that us gals love adventure too!

If this is your first introduction Travel Play Live (aka Amy and Kez), we are all about empowering and inspiring every women to live full, fun, adventurous and passionate lives through active outdoor pursuits, no matter what their choice of adventure.

We’ve found that adventure as it is sold today, is primarily marketed to a male domain. Most adventure orientated media, is of the “Bear Grylls” variety or the “sexy near naked images of young females” type, pretty much only appealing to men (we are raising our eyebrows here). In a time when media influences children as much as adults it’s important to strive for fair representation to help our young girls and women get excited about outdoor physical activity and how it can lead to living an empowered vibrant life.

Join the Adventure 

This little adventure 'aint cheap hence this campaign where we are aiming to raise $7500 +  from our community to help offset  the costs of our first issue, which will ensure our budget safety net carries us across the line for subsequent issues:
 
Our biggest costs are 

- Design/production
- Marketing
- Print expenses 
- Distribution

When you make your pledge, you are essentially buying the magazine upfront, rather than once it's on the shelves.
In doing so you get yourself a copy (or 4) and we can show potential advertisers that the adventurous women of Australia are ready for adventure NOW!
