Hi I am Pollyananr, a 25-year-old Australian based photographer and the creator of The BIG Picture. At the start of the year I produced the world’s longest family portrait it created a lot a attention. So I deiced for my next BIG Picture was going help give a face and voice to people who need it most, people who are literally dying to be heard. Over the last 4 months I have traveled Victoria wide documenting the transplant community. It has generated a 35-metre photo art instillation for DonateLife week taking place from the 1st - 9^th August 2015. This BIG Picture will be exhibited in Melbourne’s City Square, it is an amazing high profile space only a two-minute walk from Federation Square down Swanson Street. This photo however is stuck on my computer, my funds can't stretch to cover the massive cost to get this photo and life saving message from pixels to paper and into the heart of Melbourne.

This photograph features over 100 portraits of transplant recipients, donors, donor families and people on the waiting list  each one hold a sign with their story. Along with this giant photograph, I have developed a documentary with Michelle Jarni and magazine stylebook that follows the stories behind these portraits. The documentary will be released as a four part YouTube web series on the 19^th of July 2015 along with the magazine becoming available for sale at the exhibition.
The BIG Picture is designed to generate discussion and awareness around organ donation and increase donor registration. It will be toured nationally and overseas over a two-year period. With this large-scale project being completely self-funded but I am very lucky to have a great support team from Melbourne city council, Transplant Vic/Tas committee DonateLife and their have a fantastic PR team behind me.  My aim is to put a face to the statistics that are constantly stated, showing that organ donation effects people from all walks of life. I have gotten this project to the edge of the cliff with blood, sweat, tears of joy and sadness all shared with my wonder new transplant family. I need your help to push this bad boy off the cliff and unleash it on the world.  Crushing any doubt that registering to be a donor is the greatest gift we can give to the world before we leave. (ok thats a little dramatic but you get the point)

To print this print you need a 2 things a big printer and a printer who knows how to print on the big printer.
There is only one printing lab in Australia who do the job and that's CPL in Melbourne. It takes the team over 8 hours of continuous printing to reach their goal and a couple of days of test printing.  It is printed of on a special photographic printer that uses light not ink making it the highest quality, a true photograph and totally one of a kind. This picture is more of a sculpture then a photograph is a labor of love. But love isn't free or cheap and $6,500 dollars will cover this cost.

After printing it then needs to be encapsulated (laminated on both sides) This ensures the picture is totally water and weather proof so it will for lasting forever!
Again this requires a lot of skill if Brad my laminator, if he strays just 1 cm off course it will run off the laminate.
To keep Brad on the straight and narrow I need to pay him $2,500

I would give Michelle the world if i could it's because of her the BIG picture is just the very long tip of the ice burg.

Getting the BIG picture off my computer and on paper is a huge task and expensive task luckily I have a brilliant team who has worked out all the teething issues with my last print which was the worlds longest family portrait at 25 meters.

Once printed It is then attach to a 40 meter inflatable wall.
This is my biggest task as it custom built and lights up at night.
I'm luckily enough to have some sponsors on board to soften the blow but It will still cost me a extra $10,000 on top of this campaign which i am currently happily living off cabbage to pay for. This wall will not display tBp just in City Square but will mean i can tour it nationally and internationally.

Before starting this project I thought these obstacles would make this project impossible and i was going put it off for another year. What difference would it make......well after the last 3 months i know it would make a lot of difference. My life no longer changes in years but in minutes. One minute your fine the next minuet the doctor tells your sick. One minute your sick the next minute your dying and waiting for a transplant. One minute your waiting the next minute the phone rings. in one minute we are alive the next minute we could be a donor and saved 8 lives.
So I'm not waiting another minute and i'm not afraid because i believe lives can be saved by this BIG picture.
