The Epic Gaming Arena is designed to bring every aspect of Gaming and Pop-culture together under one roof. This multi purpose facility is designed to host a number of various activities and events such as tournaments, live streaming finals series, E3 Conferences, Cosplay Workshops, Esport training and events, Laser Skirmish competitive play and much much more. The Epic Gaming Arena is not just for the hard core gamer's, this facility will also be hosting birthday parties, corporate functions, team building and School sport. Entertainment for all ages under one roof.

WHAT IS EPIC GAMING? 

Epic Gaming have been operating for the better part of a decade as a stand alone Laser Skirmish operation. We finally got our shot 3 years ago with EB Games, to host skirmish for the EB Games expo 2013. This event started a chain reaction that none of us saw coming. After the EB games expo, Epic Gaming was invited to join the Supanova Popculture expo in 2014 for the Melbourne and Sydney shows. At these shows we were able to learn and experience a lot about the gaming and pop-culture industries. 

Fast forward to now and Epic has just wrapped up our 3rd year at the EB Games expo and our 2nd campaign with the Supanova shows. In addition to this we were invited to host skirmish for the new Armageddon show called AMCE Melbourne. 

What was once a small Laser Skirmish operation has now turned into the future of gaming. It is our vision to bring all the fantastic aspects of each industry into a place where it can thrive and grow into an Epic Arena.  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Our core business has always been Laser Skirmish and it shows in our ability to create amazing and mind blowing equipment and events. We have worked on many different projects from Midnight Launches with EB Games (Call Of Duty Advanced warfare and Halo Master Chief Collection) to creating a real life RPG and many in-between.

With these great opportunities we were able to make some amazing props and equipment that has wowed everyone (even the CEO's of Mircosoft). Our most resent skirmish included converting the GOW Retro Lancer into the ultimate skirmish system. Mixing Laser Skirmish and theatrics is not an easy task, many companies have tried and failed and some have even succeeded but never continued. However, our mission is to leave you wanting more but to deliver a spectacular experience for everyone who steps into the Epic Arena.

Epic Gaming have been around for 8 years and has no sign of slowing down. Our affiliates with EB Games, Supanova, AMCE, Good Games, Oz Animart, 1 Game 1 Chance, GUF and Origin PC help us to cover all aspects of this arena. Contracts and alliances with these companies already exist and that is what makes this project worth get involved with. 


                  

WHY POZIBLE? 

The reason for choosing a platform like pozible is for a number of factors. The largest being interest, we want to know that you all feel the same as we do about this amazing project. We all have great ideas and this is a great way to see if we are on the right track. Second would be obviously cost, A center not just in size but diversity needs plenty of funds not to just open doors but also gather materials for all aspects of the arena. 

Funding for this project already exists, the only thing we need to establish now is size. This Facility can already be made with current funding we have saved, however the size of the arena would only be small and would only see some aspects of the arena come to life. With Pozible funding we can expand this project to its full glory before we open. So if this campaign is unsuccessful then we will still go ahead with the build on a much smaller scale. This is your chance to join this from the ground and grow with us as many people have already. 


                                                                                     

WHEN AND WHERE ARE WE LOOKING AT THIS STARTING?

Research on this project has been underway for 2 years and a number of factors have been taken into account when finding a location and opening the doors. Current location sites are Parramatta, Auburn, Liverpool, Blacktown, Penrith and Campbelltown. We have about 1 to 2 possible locations in these areas that are suitable for the arena. This taking into account needs to have a number of additions. Other factors we are looking at are; Possible NBN, walking distance from Train and Bus access and overall population density.

Open date is currently set for 17th and 18th of January 2016. Reason for this is we wanted to avoid the Australia day weekend for open only and also keep this still in the School holidays. The open night is currently set for the night of Saturday the 17th January 2016 and this will depend on approvals and DA's leading up to the holiday period.

If in the event this campaign manages to reach its goal we do have the option for a second opening night party on the Friday 16th January 2016. More details on this will become available if we get close to the target.

Epic Gaming currently have 80% of the materials needed to run this arena. Laser Skirmish, Retro lounge, Sound, Lighting, Cafe and some PCs is just some of what we have been stock piling for years to put into this project. 

The funds from this Pozible Campaign will go to the following;
Pozible - 5%
Stage build - 10%
PC build - 20%
Wages - 15%
Secure of facility - 50%   

Ideally this scale of project requires plenty of hands. But my team is prepared to put in the hard yards to get this off the ground. This project is focused on the facility so ultimately the more funding we secure the larger the facility.  

When you are running something on such a large scale communicating this large variety of activities can be tough work!! 

No project runs smooth and you would be a fool if you thought other wise. However Epic Gaming will be there to fix any problems that arise during the process.
