Hello friends. The time is here!

I'm so super happy to say, I'm finally making a new album and then touring to launch it.... with a band!

From March 2014 - November 2015 I traveled throughout Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and Mexico. I wrote, practiced yoga, worked on a farm, swam with sharks, sang with friends, climbed volcanoes, learnt Spanish and explored… I wrote songs about the people I met, the places I saw, the feels I felt and the world I fell in love with. I embraced who I am and I let go of who I am not.

One thing that’s really stayed with me since coming home is the intense beauty of the cultures, music, heart and life of the people I met. These songs are stories about these people, about me, and about the wider world that we all share. They are filled with joy and with learning - and I want to share these stories with you.

SO! We will make the album, in a little farmhouse in southern NSW. And THEN I’ll be releasing the album and touring nationally WITH A BAND

In AMAZING news, I received a Grant offer from Creative Partnerships Australia’s MATCH Program. They’ll grant me $10,000 IF we can raise $15,000 with THIS crowdfunding campaign. This is an amazing gift and means I can do SO much more with the album and beyond. 

THE EXTRA $10,000 'MATCH' GRANT WILL ALLOW ME TO

* Tour nationally WITH A BAND to SIX major cities

* Work with a publicity team to make sure the new songs reach peoples ears, and to promote the tour

* Buy a secondhand DSLR camera to document the recording process and the tour, and make a series of video clips for each of the songs on the album

I feel so well equipped to make this project happen, and make it awesome. I have a great team that includes distribution, publishing and promotion, and I'm clearer than ever on what kind of music I truly want to be making right now.

But, it's still a constant struggle to balance art and business. To do all the creative stuff and understand the business stuff, and to balance my time so that both sides get the attention they need and deserve.

I'm so grateful for the support that you all constantly give - not only in a monetary sense when I ask for it, but just in being here with me, being a part of my world and allowing me to be a part of yours. I can promise you that, no matter what challenges come up, this album and tour are going to happen, and I will keep on making music to share with you.
