Hi my name is Rohan. Over the past 5 years i have been trading Australian and New Zealand Feijoas in fresh produce markets around the globe. Over this time I fell in love with the fruit. I started my own page called 'Feijoa Addiction' purely due to the lack of Feijoa information out there and now we sell many things Feijoa including Fruit, trees and juice with more products to come! The fruit itself is is very unique however it has seemed to be forgotten about and only cultivated in small pockets around the globe.

Unfortunately the possible health benefits that lie inside the Feijoa have not been researched sufficiently. There is much talk about the fruit being a possible fighting agent against cancer and can help protect liver injury induced by viruses, chemicals and drugs. There is possibly more that we are yet to find out.

I have contacted the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Brisbane who have helped me put together a project to initiate research into the Feijoa.
