After a lifetime of surfing on the beaches after storms, all I could see was the run off from the streets carrying tones of rubbish into the ocean. The idea was that if people knew what happened to the rubbish once it went into the street, they might be more careful about where they leave it. The book is aimed towards 3-7 year old children, with the same emphasis on the parents teaching their family the importance of caring for the environment. There are plenty of super heroes to worship out there, but I think when it comes to saving the world, there is a time a place for the worlds fist Eco Super Hero, go Captain Kaching, save those rubbish wrappers from being swept into the ocean.

The History of the Captain.

The book has been endorsed by the Education department and has been applied to the Environmental Science Curriculum syllabus. The initial print run of 5,000 copies were sent to Schools around the world from Australia and America, to Africa and China. Now we have run out and we are looking to print more of these books and continue to provide Captain Kaching Books to school libraries world wide in a number of different languages.

The Captains Future

There has been a cartoon produced to complement the story of the Rubbish Wrappers being saved by the Captain, now we would like to provide this content to Cartoon networks around the world to continue the environmental awareness the Captain instills in his story.

Help the Captain.

We are looking to print more books and create more cartoon content to keep the Captains Story evolving, there are 5 prequel stories to the Adventures of Captain Kaching, all educational and all building awareness of what we consume, where it comes from and what happens to it when we are done.

Specifically we have printers ready to run another production of the current book, our author is ready to complete his life's work and see the story of the Captain and the rubbish wrappers being told. We have a team of animators who are ready to produce the cartoon series.

The biggest challenge in all of this is community support. If you are not able to make a contribution, the best think you could do is contact a friend who may have children and a concern about the future of the environment.
