My name is Ollie MC (Oliver Butterfield), I am a Musician from Melbourne.  Through my music i aim to bring awareness to issues surrounding the disability community, , the plight of refugee's, Indigenous issues as well as other social issues facing us all. My Project is to record a solar powered hip-hop EP then tour the EP in rural and remote communities around Australia.

The EP will be recorded in MonkeymArcs's Solar Powered recording studio.

MonkyeymArc  works six months of the year working on Aboriginal communities producing indigenous music.

As part of this project, i will tour the new EP in rural and remote Australia with the intention of bringing music to parts of the country that would otherwise have limited access to live original music.

  I will also use this opportunity to find out about accessibility issues facing disabled people in rural and remote areas of Australia and try to work with local community groups, venues and local facilities to improve access and awareness around disability issues.

My Funding total includes; my recording time with MonkeymArc, mixing, mastering and an initial 500 copy release of the EP

this will allow me to have a product to sell, and a full set of music to perform, essentially giving me the materials i need to make this project a success in its own right.

Any money collected above and beyond the total will be used to assist the costs of the first leg of the tour.

I have Spina Bifida, a Disability that has greatly affected the use of my legs.

As I am a disability pensioner, so i am relying on help from my community to make this Project a reality!
