Ok well it's time to support your local arts and circus community again.

This coming September in the 2013 Melbourne Fringe Festival will be the 'Gasworks After Dark' project; a collaboration between AfterDark Theatre, Gasworks Arts Park and the Melbourne Fringe Festival.



This project was set up to allow Circus performers to have a venue to perform at for this year's festival as a central Hub for the genre of Circus. After Dark Theatre has come on board as a production company to help independent producers and artists create, publicise and develop their work.
AfterDark will be bringing in their experienced Design team of Lighting designers and sound designers, as well as a set designer for productions to utilise. AfterDark is also aiding by donating in-kind their production services to all the shows.

Sounds great right? but for this to happen, we need your help!


To make this a successful Hub venue and event we need funds, which will go towards the following:

Advertising of the venue and shows $2000
Aiding the shows in production value $1000
Hiring of lighting and sound $1000
Paying technical staff to aid productions $2000
Setting up some Hub Venue awards for most outstanding work and new development $2000

so a rough estimated total of $8,000 would help our cause greatly, but we have set our target at $3000 as that will greatly reduce the load off all the collaborating parties.
