ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Naira. Thanks for reading about my original handmade creations, which I sell under the brand "Graceful Avenue".
It all began in Melbourne in 2011. I taught myself to sew and made some beautiful pouches for sunglasses. Later that year I moved to the UK and started creating other original items and opened a small shop in Watford.
My creations now include a vast range of pouches with cute characters on them, framed cross-stitched artworks, handmade paper flowers and our most popular product - our greeting cards. All items are made with love and our customers appreciate our unique style. This year I'll be returning to Australia and bringing my brand with me. I can't wait to see what happens next in my home country.
ABOUT OUR MISHKA COLLECTION
Panda lovers, get excited! Recently we launched our Mishka Collection greeting cards, which feature hand-drawn cuddly panda bears in all sorts of fun scenarios, with humourous captions and eye-catching colours. What does Mishka mean? Mishka is a bear in Russian!
It is wonderful that our customers have embraced these cards! There are currently 44 designs in the collection, with themes of Friendship, Graduation, Love and Happiness, Work and Play, Weddings and more. We are also creating custom-designed cards on request. Please check out the video at the top of this page where you can see more of our designs.
All designs have been hand-drawn individually, then scanned into the computer, edited and then printed using a HP inkjet printer. For the purpose of selling cards in the shop, our current process works well for us but we want to take things a step further. This is where we need your help.
OUR AIM
We'd like to raise $700 to put towards printing our Mishka Collection greeting cards professionally. We've sourced a suitable printing company for the job. They'll be able to print our cards in an environmentally-friendly way on FSC certified 340gsm thick paper, making the colours and designs 'pop' and truly excite everyone. The cards will have a light satin finish, leaving the inside of the card uncoated for ease of writing your own messages.
This money will enable us to get about 500 professionally printed cards, which could then be distributed to gift shops, boutiques and galleries in Australia.
GIVING BACK
If we reach the target amount of money and exceed it, we'd love to give a little back to the cuddly pandas that inspired our collection. We'd like to donate a percentage of the excess money raised to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) and help them continue their efforts in protecting Giant Pandas and other endangered animals. With only around 200 pandas left in the wild, we all must help to make a difference.
YOUR REWARDS (how exciting!)
We would love to reward our wonderful supporters. Not only will you be receiving the newly printed professional cards, which you helped us manufacture, you will also receive our other handmade products!
These include our gift tags, handmade drawstring pouches (perfect for sunglasses), custom hand-drawn cards with the Mishka bear doing whatever you like, and even our exclusive magazine "Feeling the Heartbeat of Paris", featuring my photography, illustrations and stories about Paris.

Once we receive the cards, we'll deliver them to you wherever you are in the world. We estimate you'll receive your rewards around mid-October. Worth waiting for!

We don't expect any setbacks as all our designs simply need to be re-structured to meet the new printing company's requirements.
