Misyon is a dramatized story of a real life Faith Healer Ruben Ecleo Sr. of Dinagat Island Philippines once featured in the WHO Magazine (26-09-81) as "The South's Mysterious Superstar of Asia" with over 1 million followers in the Philippines alone. 
Roeder Camanag MISYON Starring Roeder Camanag, Ronnie Lazaro and Rod Power. Roeder Camanag is a multi-talented performer, singer, actor, and dancer. He recorded three original Filipino albums released under Vicor MusicCompany, which include his signature hit, Sana Naman (gold and platinum) and an international album released in Germany to his credit. He is one handful talents who have successfully made the crossover from mainstream pop to theater and independent films. He has acted in over thirty productions ranging from musicals to straight plays. He gave memorable performances in King and I, Twelfth Night, Aguinaldo 1898, Larawan, Chess, Grease, Once on This Island, Fire,Water, woman, They're Playing our song, Macbeth, Luna, Carmen, Insiang, Ligawang Ligaw and Rhythm Method.
He received Best Stage Actor nominations from the Aliw Awards for his performances Count Dracula in the Tanghalang Pilipino adaptation ofDracula and Gantimpala National Artist Production Series F.Sionil Jose's The God Stealer/ Nick Joaquin's The Queen's Jewel. For film, he got a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his performance in Lav Diaz's Ebolusyon. Roeder is under Talent Factory management headed by Ricky Gallardo. In 2007 he won Best actor from Aliw Awards. This year he was nominated as Best Actor from Gawad Urian for Death in the Land of the Encantos.
Australian Rod Power Producer Co-writer/ Co-star with film credits ranging from Producer cameraman documentary film, Fight choreography, Stuntman and Set design. Over 75% of the movie has already been filmed and the funds are for the final scenes and post production costs. The opening scene itself has over 10,000 real P.B.M.A. (Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association) members and we use the actual P.B.M.A. Grounds Dinagat. The healing scene in the large guitar shaped pool is also the actual location using P.B.M.A. members to rein-act the correct healing process. P.B.M.A. members are estimated at 6 million World wide and they all consider Ruben (BONG movie name) to have been a modern day Jesus Christ. The budget paid so far is $63,300. and although our target goal is only $45,000 we are hoping for a much higher target amount which would allow us to develop an excellent movie sound track. The Philippines speaks native Tagalog and English and the real actors can re-dub the real English version which is the great advantage of using the Philippines for film projects.
