Simple Gallery is a gallery add-on for XenForo that was designed to be lightweight and simple to use. Due to popular demand it is being upgraded to a fully featured Media Gallery (and also being renamed to Media Gallery). This gallery is already under development and prototyped but development cannot continue at the current rate without funding.
The funds raised will go to Mercenary Design staff to be able to work full time on getting the Media Gallery out as soon as possible. Estimated to take up to 2 months but with betas out after 1. If the goal isn't reached the Media Gallery will be worked on in little free time and still be done, just in a much longer time.
Media Gallery is being heavily influenced by IP.Gallery, facebook and the general way XenForo Ltd creates their add-ons like the resource manager. What you will get is a gallery that has the features of IP.Gallery, the social and easy experience of facebook (including tagging, likes and comments) and the simple easy to use nature of XenForo.
Media Gallery will work like 2 add-ons in one. Firstly there will be the websites gallery which will feature a system much like the forums with nested albums controlled by XenForo permissions. It will support videos and images like you would expect and if someone has permission they simply add their media. The screenshots at the end of this description are of this system prototyped. Think of this as a big public gallery for the website.
The second part is the facebook styled user orientated galleries. They will be separate (however some overlapping between each system might occur depending on what people want) albums done basically the same as facebook. People will be able to create their own albums, upload images, link videos etc all on their own profile. It will also support tagging and even a watermark editor to put words or images over the top in layers.

- bulk upload images using the XenForo flash uploader
- each image will have a title, description, copyright, watermarking and meta tags
- the website gallery (global albums people like to call them) will include a nested album system with permissions per album per user group per user
- add videos by simply pasting a link to the video (from supported media sites - uses the XenForo media sites system)

- watermark editor which can be set by admin to go on all images, set per uploader or both

- alerts for everything you would expect, with perferences
- admin option to have images presented with PHP to apply privacy to direct image links or simply to a public directory (for optimizations and the possibility to put images on a cloud)

- XenForo report integration for images
- select an image to work as the album cover image
- select an image to use as your avatar (like on facebook)
- tinymce/bbcode integration to choose an image from the bbcode editor

- user criteria integration so you can set things like custom trophies for uploading x images
