SYNOPSIS
“The mini-series, A Nun, A Gun and A Prostitute by writer/director Sean King follows the journey of Nostalgia; a high class call girl. But Nostalgia (Vanessa Bockman) is not your typical call girl. When confronted by her disgruntled pimp, Lester, having not received his cut from her last job, Nostalgia’s double life begins to unfold. We soon discover who Nostalgia really is, and she is not the only one in this twisted tale with a secret.
This series follows Nostalgia’s quest for a better life, with her morality and courage depicting her as a modern day Joan of Arc.”

Filming took place over 8 gruelling days and nights here in Adelaide. The film stars some of Adelaides best and well known actors and introduces Vanessa Bockmann to the screen in the lead role of Nostalgia.
Funding to get the project to post production stage was achieved through sponsorship of cash and products by local businesses. Some provided logistics such as food and transport and others cash and or material items required for props and dress. Sean and Kelly King funded a majority of the project financially and purchased most of the technical equipment required to film (though much of it was already owned from previous short film projects).
A Nun a Gun and a Prostitute will, upon completion, be marketed to Australian and European television networks. Eventually we will approaching U.S. networks also. It is also our goal to get the film to Cannes upon completion as part of our marketing strategy.
The current status of the project is as follows;
All filming has been completed
The first edit of the film is completed
Opening titles are being created at the moment
The next stages;
1. Edit to move to final stage
2. On to special effects stage for shootout scenes
3. Off to post sound and soundtrack creation
4. Marketing strategy creation and execution
We have set our Pozible target at $5,000.00 but every amount above this raised will help immensely with creating the highest possible outcome and the marketing of the film.
