What is a Toy Catcher Machine ? 

Below are pictures showing what is a toy catcher machine. They are commonly found in arcades, shophouses or any entertainment areas.


 

What am i doing in this project ?

It's is an modification of the toy claw machine. It will allow players(you) to be able to play it through online rather than physically in front of the game machine. More of such system can be implymented onto other arcade machine as well.
As all toy claw machine will allows the player to bring home the prizes they catch. In this system, prizes caught will be mail out to the winner's address.
This whole system will be hosted on a website with a game lobby. Players will be able to create accounts and log in to enter the game lobby. All games required virtual game credits to play.

Why am i doing this project ?

I am currently 23 this year. I am currently studying in a private school, BMC International College. This project was actually my final year project. But i feels that it has the potential to grow as internet are growing as well. So implymenting such new gaming experience to the world is something new and worth exploring.

 

What i had done so far ?

I have already build a prototype machine and it is already working.

A webcamera is attached to the machine so that players are able to view the movement of the claw online.

The prototype testing can be seen from the video at the start.

 

Why Pozible ?

I have already come out with the idea, the design and the structure. But now, i would like to further improve the whole system.

with the fundings,

1) i will be replacing the web cameras with IP cameras so that the image will not be so distorted or lag as this this a real-time gaming experience. Therefore, minium lag must be presence.

2) I will be making an official website for this. The idea is that players are able to create accounts and have their own virtual currency / credits. There will be many game rooms avaliable. As this particular machine only allows 1 player to play at a time, therefore having game rooms will allow players to have their own private gaming experience

3) If this idea / project is overwhelm with good response, more and different type of arcade machines can be implymented.
