Help me travel to America to study under some of the best living printmakers in the world. My name is Tim Casiero and I am an Adelaide-based printmaker, sometimes operating under the name Dawn State. I specialise in relief printing but enjoy exploring multiple printmaking techniques. What really appeals to me about printmaking is its ability to make multiples, which results in art that is cheaper and more accessable to a wider audience, not those who attend galleries. I am inspired by folklore and the supernatural as well as tattoo flash art and black-work. 

Currenlty I am undertaking my Visual Art Honours degree at the University of South Australia with a focus on how printmaking connects with street art to bring human interaction back to the streets of Adelaide. I've been accepted into the course 'Printmaking and Installation: Out of the Matrix' in the US in July to study under Mazatl, Kill Joy, and Dennis 'Wolfbat' McNett. Now I need to raise the funds to get there. I don't want to miss out on the chance to study under these printmakers. It will not only help my personal art practice but also with my Honours research project. The course explores ways that printmaking techniques can be used to create street art and installation pieces. This is exactly what I'm interested in.

I need to cover the cost of travel to the US as well as course and material fees, which I need to pay upfront. I found out about my acceptance into the course at very short notice, which is why I am asking for your support.

Because I have a wide range of prints and t-shirt designs I have collated them into this catalogue so it is easier to see what is up for grabs. If there is a certain print you would like, feel free to let me know and I will see if what I can do about ensuring you receive it, however I make no guarantees. 

Limited Edition A5 Print

As a thank you to everyone who contributes, I will be printing a new A5 sized print that will only be available to those who supported this project.

The $3000 I hope to raise on this pozible will go towards the overall cost of the study trip, particularly the course and material fees. I aim to cover the cost of flights and accomodation myself with a little help from my friends and family.  

I have been accpeted into the course in the US already, so the only challenge left is raising the funds to go!
