Hello my name is Camille Bernardino of Bambadino!

I've been writing songs since I was about 18. I started with a lament about breaking my favourite cup, then a ballad of unrequited love, then one about food and 15 years and over a 100 songs later, here I am! I mostly write about delicious food, love and occasionally slip a bit of social justice and feminism in my stories. 

I grew up in Sydney and regularly played at an open mic called Chicks With Picks in Newtown, at events like International Womens Day and Reclaim the Night. Since moving to Alice Springs I've sung backing vocals for Edward Francis and Dave Crowe and am the (self appointed) Mid Captain for Alice Sings Pop Choir. 

I've previously recorded a few songs at home and made three CDs using a condenser mic, USB interface and a basic knowledge of GarageBand. This year I wanted to take it to the next level so I hired Dave Crowe of SingHum to record and produce my proper debut album - Zanzibar Jam! January 14 2019 we started recording and are launching the record on June 28th.
