A few months back I launched Bluetooth+ for Blackmagic, an iOS app that lets you control many of the functions on Bluetooth-enabled Blackmagic Cameras, including the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and the Ursa Mini Pro.

It lets you do things like...

• Pull focus right from your phone
• Start/stop recording
• Set white balance, iris, frame rate and more
• Input digital slate metadata

It works great, and provides lots of useful functionality, but up until now, Android users have been a bit left out.

So I've enlisted the help of a very talented Android developer, with whom I'm going to bring Bluetooth+ across to Android Land.

A proof-of-concept has already been created, and full-scale development is ready to begin. But I need your help. It's a pretty niche market, and you get what you pay for when working with developers. The good news is that backing something that you'll see immediate benefit from.

The hope is to have Version 1.0 complete by end of December 2018 at the latest.

A version 1 of the app will cost ~US$4500, all of which is going towards covering the time of a fantastic Android developer that I've partnered with to bring to project to life.

I'm aiming to raise US$3000 to start with, through presales of the app, and if we can make it all the way to $4500, all the better!
