Our Doll Hand Puppets are excited!

They attended the launch of the new doll puppet clothing range;

1. chose their favourite outfit, 
2. tried it on, and 
3. put an order in with our factory in China.

The happy puppets in the photo above are all wearing their new outfit.

We have been developing the new doll puppet clothing with our factory for a few months. Working on;

• designs and styles,
• choosing fabric and colours,
• making sure that the clothing will be a perfect fit for our beautiful and unique Doll Hand Puppets.

We visited the factory in China and know how good they are. The quality is excellent!

The factory has been very patient with sampling and re-sampling to make sure that the Doll Puppet Clothing is a perfect fit.

The clothes are designed to allow room from the back of the puppet for a large adult hand to enter the puppet under the clothes and into the puppet's arms, head and mouth. This means that you can manipulate the puppet easily and comfortably while the puppet is still dressed. 

We are very happy with the designs, feel and look of the clothes on the puppets. The detail, finish and quality is superior!

The new doll puppet clothes will be made in January 2019 and shipped to Sydney Australia. We need to pay;

• the factory in China, 
• to have them shipped, and
• for a few other expenses all shown in the pie chart below.

About our National Award

Our Doll Hand Puppets love to play and teach children. Their effort and positive impact on children was recognised by the Australian Government when the Puppets were honoured with an Award.

Our Story

Flat Friends is an Australian Brand with a big heart and passion to make a difference.

Our motivation for starting Flat Friends has been to help Animals, Children and our Environment. 

We do this in two ways:

1. Instilling love, affinity, respect and trust for animals, children and the environment.  

We aim to empower children with understanding and knowledge in a postive way through play.  

We design, develop and manufacture our own educational toys which  includes; flat soft toys made from sheepskin, puppets, wooden puzzles, unbleached cotton bags,  and especially our cute and lovable characters and their stories. 

All our toys are designed to trigger developmental aspects in children, working motor skills, developing language, and inspiring creativity and imagination. This gives the children the freedom for self-expression releasing emotion stresses and building their self-esteem, confidence and a can-do attitude.

2.. Financially by partnering with charities and making contributions. 

This means when you pledge for a reward some of the money pledged to Flat Friends will go to help animals and children.

Once we achieve our target you will receive your reward immediately. There's no waiting!  Just in time for Christmas!

The great thing is that we have stock in Sydney. This means that when you pledge for a reward, we can post or courier the products with the extra benefits to you as soon as we get $3,000. You will be able to put your reward under your Christmas Tree or ask us to send your reward to someone for you with a personalised gift card from you to the recipient. We even send our products to International Destinations. It's your choice!

As part of this Crowd Funding Campaign, we are offering you a special Free product. The free product or products will depend on how much you pledge. All pledges will include a personalise a gift card from you to your recipient. 

How does it work, when you pledge an amount you receive a reward.  A pledge is a purchase of a reward the the rewards consist of products.

We have given you the flexibility to pledge for more than one item, if your pledge is over $99, you will receive a gift box, and a personalised gift card.

We are looking to initially raise AU$ 3,000 to pay for some of the production of our Doll Puppet Clothing. We have finalised all the samples with our factory in China and the factory has scheduled to make our doll clothing in Janauary 2019. The Doll Hand Puppet Clothing will be shipped from China to Sydney. We have manufactured and shipped products from China many times and have a lot of experience.
