WHO?

WHAT?

Long-sleeved t-shirts and caps to sell as part of my music world. They're 100% cotton (very comfy from AS colour) and we are using very passionate screen-printers and embroiderers who use water-based inks for the tees, no nasty plastisols , so that you'll wear the best quality tees going round. Artwork featured is from the remarkable one-line French Artist: "Quibe"

Tees come in two colours WHITE and COAL (gray). The tees feature a little drawing by the very talented "Quibe" of my face - classy.

Caps are brushed cotton - with a proper buckle on the back (none of this velcro business), one-size fits all (probably), and it's navy.  They feature an embroidery of my face. My face comes sewed into your hat. Amazing.

WHY?

Another fair question. I'm actually proud of this music thing I've created, and I want to do more of it. Making and selling these tees and caps will help me pay for the next project. I would also like to amass an army of fans and be like Lady Gaga with her Gaga Monster's fan base or whatever it is - the "Sad Keegan fan club of 5."

AND NOW.... A message from Keegan’s brother: 

Keegan Joyce doesn’t much like talking about himself, much less in third person. So he asked me to do it – his little brother...mistake.

He began performing really young, maybe even too young, but he hasn’t stopped– I mean, he could have done something more meaningful. I mean sure, writing brilliant lyrics about his life that are both heartfelt and entertaining while entwining them with charming and engaging melodies is all well and good, but I’m sure that he could have found a way that he could have impacted the world more thoughtfully. On second thought, maybe he should stick to the music.

What’s annoying is my friends like the shows he appears in ‘Please Like Me’ and ‘Rake‘ on the ABC. But if I wanted to watch my brother kiss people on television...well, safe to say, I don’t. He keeps on sending me his songs for his debut album Snow on Higher Ground – I am always willing to write a positive and feel-good ‘yeh, nice’ or even a ‘great job bro’ if I’m in a good mood – but let’s be real, brotherly love means I've never actually listened. I showed a friend (one of his so-called ‘fans’) a song or two – they loved it, said ‘the melodies felt enchanting andfamiliar yet somehow surprising and capturing.’ I think they’re just sad songs.

He’s continuously updating ridiculous photos of himself on his Instagram and Twitter (@keeganjoyce) which I have obviously followed to give him the numbers, but seriously are people actually interested in this stuff?

Anyway – have a listen and buy his shit, I don’t want him to ask me about this stuff anymore. Thanks - RJ

The funds raised will be used soley for manufacturing the merchandise.

Once I've got the merch in my hot hands I'll be selling them at gigs and online to raise money for the next musical project I'm working on.

Well, the biggest challenge will be no one wanting any. So that's probably a biggun. 

I want all the merch to be comfortable, and simple. I hate merchandise that's cheaply made out of plastics with glued on logos that peel of and make your chest all sweaty. I'm working with some great people who use water-based inks (no plasitsols!) and 100% cotton t-shirts and cotton caps. Clothes that last, are comfy, take care of them and they'll last longer than my career, guaranteed.

To do this we need to source quality materials, work with passionate screen-printers and embroiderers and pay them for the work.

That's why this preorder is happening, we're raising capital to pay for all these fancy, schmancy garments and the work that goes along with it.
