Someone Else Theatre is a brand spanking new collaboration that has women at the helm of performance art which is socially relevent and that transcends time and place. We're interesting in creativing nourishing, collabortive experiences for emerging and established artists.

Low Level Panic written by Clare McIntyre is Someone Else Theatre's debut performance!

LOW LEVEL PANIC

Set in a bathroom, Clare McIntyre's acclaimed and award-winning play Low Level Panic is a dark-comedy about three ordinary young women who live in a London shared flat. 

With an all female three-hander and direction from Jo Redfearn, Low Level Panic is a foul-mouthed, funny and unflinching exploration of the ways in which we view women’s lives, their bodies, their safety and their sexuality.

They uncover the inconsistent and conflicting definition of objectification as we witness the cycle of being seen and how they see themselves.

We see them encounter unchanged questions and issues of the past that resonate and are still experienced with women today. Low Level Panic is experienced through the state of a perpetual anxiety that is uncomfortable yet still functionable.

How will the funds be used?

Set / Costume - Creating the fantastic world of 1988!

Performance Rights - Absolutely not possible to perform this show without this!

AV Equipment - Pretty damn important (especially considering we some kick ass new material to share with ya'll)

Seating - We'd love you to settle in comfortably to enjoy the show.

Taking on the enormous challenge of self realised work as an artist,

aiming to support other's creative's endevours in the process,

under the weight of tiny tiny artist incomes,

and doing justice to the importance of the material.
