Luke Luck, Mad Monkey Business
Luke Luck, Luck by name, not by nature. In fact Luke is an EXTREMELY unlucky child. Follow him in Mad Monkey Business. Luke’s world is turned upside down when he is sent as punishment (you are gonna have to read the book to find out why) to work at his aunt’s zoo, something strange is going on and Luke is right in the middle of it. This book is a rollercoaster ride filled with an evil monkey, a worshiped sister, an angry principal, a hippy teacher and a crazy aunt. It is truly Mad Monkey Business.
This book is being crowd funded to raise money to help under privileged children be educated in Northern India through Purkal Youth Development Society (PYDS), https://www.purkal.org.
When the PYDS founder, G. K. Swamy, noticed that underprivileged children in his rural community stood no chance in gaining employment next to their wealthier peers, he decided to do something about it. He began an after-school tutoring program to supplement the education of four local children.
The movement grew in 2008 when PYDS established a fully equipped school, with the support of friends of the society, in the year 2008. Today, PYDS provides mentorship, healthcare, nutrition, and an education of the highest order to children who would otherwise never have gotten it.
Please support this campaign to help raise funds for underprivileged children in Northern India.
Budget Overview
I want to raise as much money as possible in this campaign, costs for this campaign include cost of printing and postage. All surplus funds raised from the campaign will go to Purkal Youth Development Society to help under privileged children in Northern India.
The 2018 PYDS annual report indicates that 80% of revenue raised goes to program delivery, money raised by this campaign will make a difference on the ground to Indian children. And not go in administration expenses.
All profits generated, including all postage money not used, for this project will go straight to the charity. With the balance being used for printing and postage. The books will be published using Print on Demand (POD). POD cost if I print 10 books is about $7 a book and if I print 70 books it is about $5.60 per book. The more books ordered the more money goes to charity.
When the first target of $1000 is reached, I will print the books pledged. But I do not want to stop there. If I can get to 1000 books ordered, I will be able to provide more than $5000 to PYDS, that is my real goal. But I need your help, please support this campaign by buying a book or two, they will make great Christmas presents.
No Reward
I choose to have no reward for my pledge.
