The Business

Hi, I’m Tali Mason, founder of All Shades Matter Makeup. I was adopted from India and grew up in Australia, where I constantly struggled to find beauty products that matched my brown skin. For too long, people with deeper skin tones have been left out of mainstream beauty, and I knew this had to change.



That’s why I created All Shades Matter. Our first launch, The MATTERfying Foundation, proved the demand immediately—customers shared how, for the first time, they’d found a foundation that truly matched their skin. Our mission is simple but powerful: to create products that make people with melanin-rich skin feel seen, confident, and celebrated.
