In 'Poison Tree,' Ivy, a young woman striving to fulfill her childhood dream of acting, faces a profound challenge when her mental health begins to strain her relationship with Lucas, her successful artist partner. As Ivy grapples with self-doubt and depression, Lucas navigates his own career ambitions while trying to support her through a turbulent journey of self-discovery.

Our crew consists of passionate filmmakers, all coming together to craft the piece of art that will be "Poison Tree"! From our assistant crew, through to our heads of departments, each member brings years of experience and a shared commitment to our craft of creating visually, audibly and emotionally compelling stories. We work seamlessly to build a truly unique experience for our viewers.

Our goal is to reach $2000, to put towards our short films production and post-production processes. Anything under or over is kindly appreciated!

Our main expenses will go towards to payment for access to locations, and set-design. These elements will help us to expand the world building aspect of our film, assisting us in achieving a more realistic and down to earth look to our film for all of you to enjoy! 

Our next budget priorities lay in equipment rentals as well as catering for our cast and crew.  We would love to acquire certain lights and lenses, to assist in building our Director, Mija's, vision. 

Catering for the film is by far one of the most important parts! We require to feed our Cast and Crew to keep the energy growing and the creativity flowing! 

During the post-prouction stage of our film, we would love to use excess funds to put towards our film festival circuit. Allowing us to branch out to both national and international film festivals, spreading the messages that Poison Tree carries. 

Any left over funds from this whole process we intend on donating to mental health charities such as "Black Dog Institute", and "R U OKAY"
