The Solander Box
"The Solander Box" is a showcase of 2017 graduate talent from RMIT Bachelor of Arts (Photography). Through a range of photographic mediums, students exhibit their self-directed folios created over their final year of the degree.
In the world of art and galleries, a solander box is implemented to conserve precious archival works. Held at the Meat Market, the graduate show functions as a solander box to house the final works students will produce before leaving university and pursuing a career in the photographic industry.
Through Pozible, our goal is to raise funds to create an exhibition that celebrates the quality and diversity of work created by the graduating class of 2017.

Budget Overview
All money raised will go towards the production of the exhibition: supplying food, drink, lighting, and facilities.
Each student has made a contribution to fund the production of their work, but with $850 we are able to adequately light the exhibition and pay for venue fees. These funds will allow us to serve refreshments on the Opening Night, print promotional materials, and hire other neccesities such as bathrooms.
Cost Breakdown:
* $850 will cover the lighting costs for the venue.
Potential Challenges
The exhibition is student-run by a dedicated team of third year graduates. While we can create the art, we need your help conjuring up the funds!
Students have a semester to work diligently on their projects, focusing all their time on the creation of their photographic works. Without external funding, we are unable to facilitate the exhibition of our work for family, friends, and industry professionals to see.
Zine
A copy of the 2017 Grad Show Zine, featuring the work, artist statement and details of each participating student. These will also be available at the exhibition.
