Why BreastPathway exists

Over the years, I've met countless people who are frightened, overwhelmed and simply trying to understand what happens next.

Some are attending their very first mammogram.

Some are waiting for biopsy results.

Others are supporting someone they love.

Despite Australia's excellent healthcare professionals, the journey itself is often fragmented. Information is spread across countless websites, clinics and organisations, leaving people to piece everything together during one of the most stressful periods of their lives.

BreastPathway exists to make that journey easier.

Meet the Founder

I'm Christie McVeigh, a radiographer, mammographer and breast sonographer.

Through my work in breast imaging across Australia, I've seen first-hand how difficult it can be for patients to know where to go, who to trust and what comes next.

BreastPathway wasn't created to start a business. It was created to solve a problem I saw every day.
