Hi there! We're Trioc, a group of Victorian musicians playing Irish traditional music on uilleann pipes, harp, fiddle, whistles and flutes.

We first played together at a blackboard performance at the National Folk Festival in 2015. And since then, we’ve performed at the Turning Wave Festival, Bannockburn Timeline Festival, The Boite World Music Café and the Old Castlemaine Gaol. And we’ve got gigs coming up in 2017 at Newstead Live and the National Folk Festival. One thing we haven’t done yet is record an album. But that’s set to change soon and we need your help to do it!

We’re asking for pre-orders to help make this album a reality. And there's a bunch of other exciting things on offer too. Read on!

Your pledges will cover the costs of two days of recording and two days of mixing and mastering with the brilliant Myles Mumford. And on top of that, the costs of printing 500 copies of the album. If we receive more than that we might even print a few more!

This is the budget breakdown:

$1210 - two days of recording at Rolling Stock Recording Rooms

$880 - two days of mixing and mastering by Myles Mumford

$1200 - printing of 500 CDs by Implant Media

$175 - Pozible fees

$35 - to go towards posters and promotional material

We're really happy with the sound we're getting at the moment and feeling very comfortable playing together so we're hoping we'll be able to capture that feeling across an easy weekend of recording. There's always the possibility that things won't go to plan but we think that together we have the recording experience and musicianship to produce something we can be proud of. It also helps that we have one of Australia's best producers on board to help everything go smoothly.
